My First Month at TIIDELAB Cohort 5

An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Work on being and not on having because with what you are you will have these words by a Renowned author. driven by these words I started asking questions on where to seek and acquire highly paid Income skills after a series of research and I was introduced to TIIDELAB by a big brother filled with excitement I applied among 7700 that applied I was chosen to be with 74 others

Fast forward, embarking on this journey has been an interesting one full of undeniable and also very tasking starting out with an opening speech from the founder of TIIDELAB Mr kadiri Salami.

Technical skills

Data Structure & Algorithm

The week started with us learning about a data structure which is a specialized format for organizing, processing, retrieving and storing data An algorithm is a set of instructions for solving a problem or accomplishing a task followed by daily routines such as stand-up peer learning sessions coding partner to further strengthen the knowledge we acquired

Advanced HTML and CSS

Following after we were introduced to advance HTML and CSS I was very much excited with these classes because I was quite familiar with some of the terms unlike Data structure and algorithm which I had no prior knowledge We were encouraged not to take these classes but to receive all that was shared with an open mind thanks to Mr shamshudeen for the heads up This was accomplished with a hotel project which I built and the link 🔗 is below...

Learn Unlearn and Relearn as a software engineer. Coding takes up few percentages of your work the others remains how to effectively communicate your 💡 with investors colleagues and your users here comes the part where everyone had to present in the team. A few days into this I have been able to stand amongs others to communicate my ideas and opinion about some subject matters..

Professional Class

Speaking about the most exciting moment and the challenging moment was when we had our first meet-up filled with excitement I met with some of my colleagues for the first time after the soft skills classes on team building we had the HOH challenge and my team came out second 🥈

Another beautiful moment was during OKS which means online knowledge sharing session I was paired with two of my colleagues ije Henry and Oluwakemi and we came up with an exciting presentation coupled with a beautiful website

Conclusion
