My Experience at TIIDELab Prefellowship 3

Wow! My experience at Tiidelab prefellowship has been an intense journey but it was, in a good way. I have heard a lot of beautiful things about Tiidelab from a friend and I have seen past members share their experience on Linkeldn, now me having a taste of it is a different thing entirely. The training which started on the 4th of april launched me into the tech world , for the fact that the training was online made me feel like it wouldn’t be as effective but to my amazement it was top notch . We had a tasking and interesting daily activity that you always want to look out for Starting with the daily nuggets that get you prepared and focused for example i read about the "act of consistency as a developer". From the first week we received a congratulatory message and were introduced to the prefellowship program we had to start learning right away beginning with HYPER TEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE (Html) and sure every week has Critical and Cognitive Aptitude Test (ccat) that helps you think and solve problems as a developer and not to forget the eviction list that occurred every week. After every class the facilitators will always give you an assignment that will help strengthen what we have learned and the part that you have a deadline to submit the assignment, a day before the submission were mostly days of sleepless night and also studying and taking notes of what has been said and taught in class ( in TIIDELab there is always something to do. "Dont expect any free day" ).

The following weeks were classes on CASCADING STYLE SHEET (CSS) and flexbox styling media query, this knowledge helped me built my portfolio using html and CSS I enjoyed the feeling of putting to work what you have learned. Data analysis classes were also included we used Excel spreadsheets to analyze data and also the use of SQL structured query language. honestly speaking I never knew what it was not until the class, learning git and git hub. I will not forget one of the classes that helped me to realize myself which is "PERSONAL BRANDING" stating out what you stand for, your values and putting yourself out there, showing the world the skills you have. it emphasizes the fact that our social handles should be used strictly to promote ourselves and our brand which we all know that the internet doesn't forget things. in addition, we were added to different teams with a mentor and our mentor happens to be mr chukwuebuka victor whose guidance help us become better I had the opportunity to work with amazing developers (team members) called the DEV MASTERS. We had sessions where we had to deliberate about things needed to accomplish. We also had classes on javascript learning how to set variables using let, const or var. Using functions to call or invoke specific tasks, and also the skill of being a technical writer In wrapping up the sessions our team had a project to create a meal recipe app I will be writing some of the ways we got started, finalization of the project but here is the link to view the app.

I will like to deeply appreciate the Tiidelab team mr kadiri Salami the founder of this great vision, and Mr shamsudeem a.k.a mr shams, our facilitators and my mentor for the great effort in putting this together
